Dodgers, Torre Will Have Gag Order When It’s All Over

I do enjoy reading ESPN.com’s Jayson Stark and his frequent writings.

One interesting thing in his latest post is that apparently Joe Torre signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) as part of his contract with the Dodgers. Says Stark:

The Dodgers apparently have no reason to worry about Joe Torre’s writing a gut-spilling, sanctity-violating book about his current team. A friend of Torre says the Dodgers included a confidentiality clause in Torre’s current contract. So sadly, we’ll probably never get to read the Dodgers’ catchy clubhouse nicknames for Manny or Derek Lowe.

Sadly, I doubt that Andruw Jones has such a clause and should he ever decide to attend spring training with a team (who turns down an invite from the Yankees anyway?) I am sure he will have plenty to say about the team that still owes him $16 million over the next several years…
